Manchester Underwriting Management acquires renewal rights of Pinpoint Underwriting

Manchester Underwriting Management Limited (MUM) has acquired the portfolio renewal rights of Pinpoint Underwriting (Pinpoint). The underwriting team at Pinpoint will be joining MUM with immediate effect.

Pinpoint is a well-established MGA, specialising in writing UK Professional Indemnity. Pinpoint is headed up by Scott Ruff who has worked in the industry for over 35 years, previously with Aviva before setting up Pinpoint.

Joining Scott are Roger Wallace and Brian Kerrigan.

As part of the acquisition, MUM will retain Pinpoint’s Perth office in Scotland, adding to its existing London, Bristol and Leeds offices.
