COVID-19 and its impact on a range of policies key topic for Fenchurch Law virtual insurance coverage and claims disputes symposium for brokers

The coverage implications of COVD-19 on policies other than business interruption will be one of the key topics to be discussed at a virtual coverage symposium for brokers being run by Fenchurch Law, the leading UK firm working exclusively for policyholders and brokers on complex insurance disputes.

The symposium taking place on Tuesday 8th December, has been designed to provide brokers with information on common coverage issues and tips on how to avoid them arising. Together with a session on COVID-19, areas that will be covered include excess layer insurance, key exclusions in construction all risks cover and the legal position on entitlement to indemnification for reinstatement.

Fenchurch Law’s Managing Partner, David Pryce said: “While COVID-19 curtailed our plans for a series of broker events across the country this year, we are still able to support brokers in building their knowledge and understanding on the current developments and case law relating to insurance coverage and claims disputes through our virtual symposium. The event enables us to bring together our expert team to share valuable insights and advice with brokers on a range of topical issues aiming to reduce or avoid insurance disputes for their clients.”
