New regional manager strengthens Brokerslink’s European presence

Global broking business Brokerslink has announced the appointment of Christos Gavriel to the role of regional manager for Europe.

Gavriel has a strong background in insurance having previously held various international roles at AIG before going on to set up and manage his own business, Renaissance Insurance Brokers Ltd, a Brokerslink Affiliate based in Cyprus.

Through his role, Gavriel will provide a connection between Brokerslink partners and affiliates in 35 European countries and the rest of the network, helping independent brokers in this region to find and develop new opportunities for their clients.

José Manuel Fonseca, Brokerslink’s chairman commented;

Gavriel added;

“My appointment is a genuine opportunity for me to give something back. Brokerslink has been integral in helping me to develop a small Cypriot insurance broker into a Lloyd’s broker with a licence to transact across the European Union. At a time of continuous market consolidation and transformation, my focus will be to influence positive change among Brokerslink Europe partners and within Brokerslink itself. I hope that the European region will become the driving force in establishing Brokerslink as the preferred alternative to multinational brokers globally.”

Gavriel’s appointment completes the Brokerslink regional management team as he joins Ana Borges (Regional Manager, MEA), Sid Garcia (Regional Manager, Asia-Pacific) and Esteban Sanchez (Regional Manager, Latin America & the Caribbean).
