HDI Global Specialty SE UK appoints Director of Finance and Operations

HDI Global Specialty SE has appointed Simon Hunt as Director of Finance and Operations, effective immediately.

Hunt joins from RSA where he had spent eight years, most recently as Finance Director, Commercial. He will be based at the firm’s London office and also joins HDI Global Specialty SE’s UK Executive team.

The appointment completes the UK senior leadership team of the specialty lines insurer, following its launch in January this year.

Last month, HDI Global Specialty SE announced senior appointments in Delegated Underwriting, Claims and Crisis Management.

Commenting on Hunt’s appointment, Richard Taylor, HDI Global Specialty SE UK Managing Director and a member of the UK Executive Board, said:
