This week saw the 10th birthday of the hashtag, celebrating the first usage of the now globally recognized symbol. Originally designed as a way of categorising and filtering content on Twitter, the hashtag has made its way onto several social networks, including Facebook and LinkedIn. We love video. Apart from its versatility on company websites and social channels, it’s a powerful way to speak directly to your audience, tell your story and convert customers.

According to Brightcove, social video generates 1,200% more shares than text and images combined. A well-crafted video can elevate awareness of your business, and engage your customers with information on your services and expertise.


According to a blog from HubSpot, Mass Planner found that infographics are liked and shared three times more than other any other type of content.

Like video, infographics provide a creative way to share insights from your business. Whether accompanying a piece of thought leadership, or simplifying a confusing topic, use of these educational images can add a visually engaging element that can be shared and repurposed on social media channels. Infographics can also function as a quick and concise reference tool.
